Our plant started operating in 1959. We started manufacturing catgut in the early 60's, when we became one of the first catgut plants in the region.

STC was founded based on a joint venture between German technology and Peruvian efficient labor force.

STC meets all sanitary and veterinary standards established internationally for this type of industry, sourcing raw materials from countries approved by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE).

STC supplies Plain Catgut, Chromic Catgut and Catgut Tape for surgical sutures manufacturers.
